Thematics

Who we recommend

  • For those who want to learn and practice safe and functional boat handling techniques.
 
  • For those who want to brush up their knowledge of port maneuvers.
 
  • For those who are unsure how to maneuver in port.
 
  • Anyone who has a boating qualification (e.g. class IV (3 nm) or inland waterway only).

Method of training

  • Presentation of the technical background and operation of the boat.
 
  • Short theoretical training still in the harbour, on board e.g. propeller effect, jet effect, steering etc.
 
  • In open water, we will prepare maneuvres on a constructed course with maneuvering exercises.
 
  • We do the exercises in small groups, in rotation, one after the other.
 
  • The training starts at 9.30 in the morning, with a short break around noon, then continues until the evening.

 

  • I will discuss the training with you online or in person. Details of this will be sent to you by email. You can ask any further questions here.

 

  • The training takes place exclusively with monohull boats.
  • The price of the training is per person.

  • The price of the boat rental
  • Organisation and education fee
  • Bonding insurance price
  • Cleaning fee for the boat

What is NOT included in the price?

  • Cost of boat fuel used during navigation
  • Travel costs to and from the training venue
  • Car parking
  • Meal costs
  • Registration fee
  • Tourist tax

Other costs

  •  The deposit is the amount of the insurance deposit that is returned in the event of an accident-free trip. Usually payable in cash on the spot.
